Professor Samuel Boakye Dampare is a distinguished geologist and scholar. He brings to the position of Director General of Ghana Atomic Energy Commission (GAEC) over 25 years of work experience in diverse research, academic and administrative roles with nearly two decades of these years being at the GAEC, where he has worked and consulted for several organisations locally and internationally as well as promoted peaceful applications of nuclear energy for sustainable development and national prosperity.
